Plans, credits and billing

This page explains what you pay for and what you get: the three plans, how billed servers are counted, what an AI credit is and what happens when you run out, and how payment, invoices and cancellation work.

The plans

PlanPriceServersAI credits per month
Free₹0Up to 2200, flat
Growth₹999 per server per monthNo cap200 per server, pooled
Agency₹799 per server per monthNo cap, 10-server minimum250 per billed server, pooled

Annual billing is ₹9,990 per server per year on Growth and ₹7,990 per server per year on Agency, which works out to two months free compared with paying monthly. Agency is billed for at least 10 servers, so the monthly floor is ₹7,990 even if you monitor fewer.

There is no quote tier: Agency costs the same per server at 10 servers or 100 (see pricing).

What counts as a billed server

A billed server is any server in your workspace that is not archived. Opservo counts them at checkout and at renewal, then applies the plan minimum (1 on Growth, 10 on Agency). Archived servers, including Auto Scaling instances that were archived after scale-in, are not billed and do not count toward the Free plan limit.

On the Free plan, adding a third server is refused at install time with the message “This workspace’s Free plan allows up to 2 servers.” Archive or remove a server, or upgrade, and run the install command again.

What needs Growth or above

Free covers monitoring, the health score, explanations, AI chat, security posture, logs, external uptime checks, incidents, notification channels and team roles. One plan flag separates Free from everything else. The following need Growth or Agency and return a “requires a Growth plan or higher” message otherwise:

Multi-tenant white-label workspaces and SSO are Agency only.

AI credits

AI only runs when you ask for it: a chat message, a diagnosis, a fix proposal, a report. Nothing runs in the background. Each call is metered against the model’s real cost, and one credit is $0.01 of model cost. Your monthly allowance resets on the first of each month (UTC) and does not roll over. Purchased top-up credits never expire and are spent only after the monthly allowance is used up.

The credits badge in the top bar shows your remaining balance at all times. Click it to open the AI Wallet: remaining credits, allowance used, cost per call, a 14-day chart, spend by feature and every recent call with its cost.

When the balance reaches zero, any AI action is refused with HTTP 402 and the dashboard shows an Out of AI credits dialog with three ways forward: top up, connect your own key, or wait for the monthly reset. Monitoring and alerts keep working; only AI features pause.

Top-up packs are 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000 credits, bought from the wallet page. The balance updates within a few seconds of payment.

Bring your own AI key

On any plan you can run AI on your own provider account instead of platform credits. Go to Account → Developer and add a key for Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini or OpenRouter. While a key is active, every AI feature uses it and does not consume platform credits. The key is stored encrypted and is workspace-wide. Remove it any time to switch back to credits.

Paying

Payment is through PayU in Indian rupees. Owners and admins start a checkout from Account → Billing; other roles see “Only an owner or admin can change billing.” Paid plans auto-renew, with a heads-up email before each charge. Add your company’s GST details on the Billing tab and they appear on every invoice.

Every payment gets a sequential GST invoice number. The Invoices list on the Billing tab shows each payment with a View link that opens the invoice.

Cancelling and downgrading

Click Cancel auto-renewal on the Billing tab. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then the workspace moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: servers keep being monitored, but Growth-only features stop working and the Free server limit applies to new installs. If a renewal payment fails, the plan stays active for a 7-day grace period before moving to Free, and you are emailed when that happens.

Refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy: fees for a period already in use are generally non-refundable, billing errors reported within 7 days are investigated and refunded, and approved refunds go back to the original payment method via PayU.
