Roadmap

Effective July 2, 2026

Three lists, nothing more: what we are building now, what is next, and what we have decided not to build so you can plan around it. Shipped work is on the changelog, updated every week. Dates are our plan, not a promise; when one slips we say so here.

Building now (October to November 2026)

  • Brief the AI before a fix. Tell the AI what you already know about a server (a note that stays with it) before it diagnoses or proposes a fix. On staging; on production in the next release.
  • iPhone app. The Android app is on Google Play; the iOS build is with Apple for review.
  • Error library. One page per exact error message, with what the agent sees and the fix. First batch of pages planned for 16 November 2026.
  • Public status page and support policy for Opservo itself (this release).

Next (decided, not yet started)

  • Uptime checks from several regions and SLA reports that say which region saw the outage, so a single probe location can never be the reason an alert fired.
  • Incidents opened automatically from a critical alert that stays open, with the on-call rota paged, so nobody has to click “declare incident” at 3 a.m.
  • Cloud cost per Kubernetes namespace, joining the cluster agent’s facts with the cloud bill the way we already do per server.
  • Kubernetes node mode for clusters that want per-node facts in addition to the API-server view.

Asked for, waiting on evidence

  • SNMP for switches and firewalls. Parked until an MSP customer asks for it with a real device list.
  • Single sign-on (SAML / OIDC) for Agency workspaces. Two-factor, passkeys, roles and the audit log exist today; SSO waits for the first Agency customer who needs it.
  • USD billing. International cards work today and are charged in INR. Billing in USD depends on our payment provider; we will say when it changes.

Not planned

  • A Windows agent. Opservo is for Linux servers. Windows-only shops should pick another tool, and we say so on the comparison pages.
  • Application traces (APM). We are the server layer. For code-level traces use Sentry or New Relic beside Opservo; we link to them from the server page.
  • Per-seat pricing. Pricing stays per server. Your whole team can use the dashboard at no extra cost.
