Which monitoring tools help agencies with white-label uptime reporting for clients?

White-label uptime reporting for agencies: a branded status page per client, SLA reports clients can read, client separation, and what Opservo does.

In short

An agency needs three things for white-label uptime reporting: a public status page per client with the client’s logo and no vendor branding, an SLA report per service that a client can read without a login, and each client kept in its own workspace. Opservo provides all three on paid plans: per-client status pages without Opservo branding, and a monthly, quarterly or yearly SLA report per monitor as a PDF.

What does white-label uptime reporting mean for an agency?

An agency or MSP that runs sites and servers for clients has to show those clients that the service is up, without making them learn the agency’s tools. “White-label” means the client sees their own brand, not the monitoring vendor’s. In practice that is two outputs: a live status page the client can link to, and a periodic report that states uptime against what was promised.

What should you check before you choose a tool?

NeedWhat to ask the vendor
Status page per clientCan I create one page per client, each with its own logo, title and services?
No vendor brandingCan I remove the vendor’s name from the page, and on which plan?
Custom domainCan the page live at status.client.com, or only on the vendor’s domain?
SLA reportIs there an uptime-against-target report per service for a month or quarter, and can I export it?
DeliveryIs the report emailed to the client on a schedule, or do I download and send it?
Client separationIs each client’s data in its own workspace, so one client never sees another?
PricingIs it per monitor, per status page, per user or per server, and what does 20 clients cost?

Seven questions that decide whether a tool fits client reporting

What does Opservo do for client reporting today?

  • •Status pages: one public page per client, each with its own title, description, logo and cover image, the monitors you choose, maintenance windows and email subscribers; they are served from the cloud, so they stay up when the client’s server is down
  • •No Opservo branding: on any paid plan you can hide the “Monitored by Opservo” line; the Free plan always shows it
  • •SLA reports: each uptime monitor carries an SLA target over a month, quarter or year, the current period and the last 12 completed periods, and a PDF export with your workspace name on it
  • •Client separation: each client can be its own workspace, and people who work across several switch between them from the top bar; every switch is in the audit log
  • •Server health behind the page: the same workspace has the agent on the client’s servers, so the reason for an outage is in the same place as the status page

Not offered today: a custom domain for status pages, brand colours beyond the logo and cover image, and scheduled emailing of SLA reports to clients. You download the SLA PDF and send it yourself.

What does it cost for an agency?

Status pages are on Growth and Agency. Growth is ₹999 (about $12) per server per month. The Agency plan is ₹799 (about $9.50) per server per month with a 10-server minimum and 250 pooled AI credits per server. Pricing is per server with users included, so adding a client’s team to their workspace costs nothing extra.

FAQ

Related questions

Can my client see other clients’ servers?+

No. Each workspace is separate, and switching workspaces is checked against your membership and recorded in the audit log.

Does the status page work when the server is down?+

Yes. Status pages and uptime checks run in Opservo’s cloud, not on the monitored server, so an outage shows on the page even when the server and its agent are unreachable.

Can I put the status page on my own domain?+

Not yet. Pages are served on Opservo’s domain under a slug you choose.

What goes in the SLA PDF?+

One PDF per period, the current one or any of the last 12 completed: the monitor, the period and its uptime against the SLA target, with your workspace name on it.
