Introducing Opservo: the AI ops engineer for teams without an SRE

Monitoring that explains itself, predicts what’s about to break, fixes it with AI, and watches your uptime from outside — all from one 30-second install.

By The Opservo team

Most infrastructure tools stop at the chart. They show you that CPU is high, that a request failed, that a disk is filling — and leave the “why,” and the fix, entirely to you. If you have a dedicated SRE team, that’s fine. If you’re one of the millions of teams running a handful of servers with nobody whose job is “ops,” it isn’t. Opservo is built for you.

Know what’s running. Know what’s broken. Know what to fix — and let AI fix it.

It explains, in plain English

Install one command and within minutes Opservo maps everything on every server — systemd, Docker and PM2 services; Laravel/WordPress/Node/Django/FastAPI/PHP apps; domains and their SSL expiry; listening ports; live processes; Redis and MySQL. Then it tells you, in a sentence, what’s healthy and what needs attention. Ask “why is web-01 slow?” and the AI answers from that server’s real metrics, processes and logs — never a guess.

It sees problems coming

The Watchdog forecasts disk-fills, memory leaks and error spikes before they page you. Anomaly detection goes further — it learns each server’s own normal for this time of day and flags what’s unusual for that box specifically. Thresholds become intelligence.

It fixes things

Resolve-with-AI walks a problem to done: it proposes a command, explains why, runs it on your approval, reads the output, and decides the next step. When you fix something, it remembers what worked as a reusable runbook — so the next time the same problem hits any server, the proven fix is already there. Prefer your own hands? Every finding shows the exact SSH command, and pre-approved autonomous policies can handle the routine stuff (like restarting a crashed service) on their own — fully audited, with hard guardrails.

It watches from the outside, and tells the right people

External HTTP/TCP checks catch the outages your agent can’t report, SSL-expiry monitoring warns you before a cert lapses, and heartbeat monitors catch a cron job that quietly stopped. A weekly AI report summarizes your whole fleet in plain English, alerts reach Slack/email/webhook, and you can ask about your servers from Slack with /opservo. You can even publish a status page for your customers.

And it’s safe by design

The agent is read-only by default and opens no inbound ports — outbound HTTPS only, HMAC-signed. We’ve written up exactly what it collects and never touches. Remote actions are an explicit per-server opt-in, every command is audited, and your account is protected with 2FA, brute-force lockout, login alerts, an audit log, and step-up confirmation before any action reaches a server. Even a stolen session can’t touch your infrastructure.

It’s free for two servers, installs in 30 seconds, and gives you a real answer in under five minutes. We run our own fleet on it every day. Give it a look.
